How to Open the Jaguar Door in Deep Dish Dungeon

1. Reach the Jaguar Door

1. Get the Hammer from the sewers.
2. From the main hall, go down the basement stairs beside its large doors and break the rusted gate.
3. Reach the Big Smelter. Cast the key from the mold already attached, then cast the separate basement key from the larger mold found nearby; each uses 5 Coal + 8 Scrap Metal.
4. Use the large-mold key on the oversized basement lock.
5. Follow the corridor to the door showing three empty Key Piece sockets. That is the Jaguar Door.

The forged key for the side room on the right is not a Jaguar Key Piece. See the forge guide to avoid mixing them up.

2. Find the three Key Piece molds

1. Near the oversized basement lock: check the room to the right of the large locked doorway in the forge area. A Key Piece mold is found near Coal and Scrap Metal.
2. Above the Big Smelter rooms: look for the rubble pile beside the smelter area, climb to the ladder and search the upper room near the chest for another mold.
3. Behind the right-hand door at the Jaguar Door: use the key made from the originally fitted mold, enter the skeleton-guarded room and search opposite the chest with the Prison Key for the final mold.

The molds are heavy carryable objects, not ordinary backpack items. Put a mold down to recover stamina, then bring it back to the Big Smelter.

3. Forge a Key Piece from each mold

1. Fit the first Key Piece mold onto the Big Smelter.
2. Add 5 Coal to the lower supply and 8 Scrap Metal to the upper container.
3. Pull the lever and pick up the resulting Key Piece.
4. Repeat with the second mold and another 5 Coal + 8 Scrap Metal.
5. Repeat with the third mold and another 5 Coal + 8 Scrap Metal.
6. Check that you have three Key Pieces before returning to the Jaguar Door.

4. Insert the pieces and collect the Silver Dagger

1. Return to the Jaguar Door at the end of the corridor.
2. Interact with its three sockets and place the matching Key Pieces.
3. Enter the unlocked room, prepared to deal with enemies.
4. Look for the Silver Dagger on a pedestal and collect it.

Materials checklist

If the door will not open, double-check that your inventory contains three Key Pieces from three different molds, rather than two copies from the same mold or one of the ordinary forged keys. The Prison Key comes from a separate chest and is not required to be inserted into the Jaguar Door.
